I uploaded the new pictures of the front and back of the blister card packaging… so it is easier to read them.

Easily_Amused LOL! I just read it. What I find really funny is the Ade 18 & Up. Good Play. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Thanks, man! It's hard to read on the photos, but under that it says: "MATURITY HAZARD-Naughty bits. Not for people without humor." almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused LOL! I couldn't read that. Even better. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Thanks! There's a decent number of little jokes hidden on the backing card. ;) almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused LOL! Just looked at the back again, and caught the UPC. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m I didn't test it, but that should be a working scan of the numbers as well. ;) almost 12 years ago

Statusquo-trampt-493f

statusquo Which reminds me of the other conversation that YES packaging is important! :) This one is fantastic. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Thanks! Of course, in this case, the packaging is pretty much the art. almost 12 years ago

Trust Pigs, This arrived today but her head popped off durring shipping. Anyway to fix this without destroying the packaging?

ultima-xxx Lol, i just love how its just in there AHha! over 11 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Fudge! So much for the power of super glue… If you send it back then I'll figure something out on how to fix it and then return it to you. Sorry it arrived broken… that's never any fun… over 11 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused @TrustPigs, do you want me to send it back to the store, or contact me and give me your address to send it to? over 11 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Just sent it back to the store, mate. They'll sure it gets to me quickly to repair… also I don't trust things sent to me since I'm never home any more. :( over 11 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Cool, will do! over 11 years ago

I saw your post on this at Spanky Stokes. Without our previous conversation on this piece I wouldn't have realized how much work went into this either.

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Thanks, man! I'll be honest: I'm almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Well, that was annoying… hit return by accident. I was going to say, I'm totally ripping myself off by charging $40 for this. That basically recoups my costs, but doesn't pay for the amount of time it took. But I just don't feel right charging more than that for something of this sort. almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused I get that. I have a real hard time valueing items like this as a collector because I don't really know what the materials are that were used in making it and what they cost. Plus being one of a kind, I can't really compare it to anything else. Maybe Sucklords Gay empire and such. I'm hoping to learn more about the production process here on Trampt. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Sucklord's Gay Empire is what I used as a price marker, even though that was a hand-cast production run and this is a custom. I just did all the math and my profit on this piece is roughly $1… seriously ($1.23 for those that REALLY care). almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused LOL! That sucks. But, everyone has to make a start somewhere. I like it and will pick it up if no one snags it before my next budget cycle (I bought 3 pieces from K. Olin Tribu this month and I'm not buying anything more). almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m I don't really do this kinda stuff for the money… if I don't lose any money, than I'm quite happy. I just like making things. Might do other, different figures. And I'm REALLY glad you like it enough to want to buy it! Means a lot. Thanks!!! almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused No worries. Are you thinking of doing more Star Wars figures or branching out to a different topic? almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Probably branching out. I love Star Wars, but I don't want to be a one-trick pony. My love for G.I.Joe, Indiana Jones, and a bazillion other things must also be explored! ;) almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused LOL! G. I. Jones. Mild manner archaeaologist by day, Soldier fighting the Terrorist organization Cobra by night. All while trying to find cool antiquities to sell on the black market. Man's gotta make a living... almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Oh my! I think YOU should make that. It's fantastic!!! almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Unfortunately, my schooling stopped art in the third grade. I tried taking a couple classes in College, but my budget kept them few and far between. So, I'd say my only developed artistic skill is fiction writing. If you ever want to bounce story ideas for pieces around. I'd enjoy it, ideas are free. Take this one above if you want it. almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m I adore collaborations, so I'll certainly keep that in mind! And I'd say just fool around with art in your spare time… it's fun and you never know! almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Thanks, I'm hoping to take another class this year (I stay motivated in class settings). almost 12 years ago

I forgot about these!

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Ha ha ha! Honestly, I had ideas for at least double the number of pieces I did for the show... time and budget constraints. Hopefully Dream In Plastic will be happy enough with how the show went when it is over (sales & hype wise) to want me to do another show there! almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused Hopefully! almost 12 years ago

I was thinking about this piece and the Stay calm piece and that got me wondering why you didn't do a print for this one in the same vein?

Here are some examples of WWII Propaganda I would recommend:

I find this funny! Do you paint over the orignal cardstock, or do you make a new card? Also, how do you source your figures that you alter for your art of of ebay (Loose or still on card)? Or, did you buy them from the store originally? If its the store did you buy by the case or singles here and there?

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m I made the backing card from scratch; full color printing on the thickest stock my local print shop had. Then I glued that onto a comic book backing board and x-acto knife cut the outline out. I pick up the figures as I need them from wherever I can find 'em! almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m I took some better pictures of this last night and will try to upload them tonight. The pics I have up are too blurry to read, unfortunately. almost 12 years ago

Easily_amused-trampt-2928f

Easily_Amused It's a cool piece. Are you planningon doing anymore of differnt characters? almost 12 years ago

Trustpigs-trampt-280f

trustpigs m Thanks, man. I have no plans to do others, but I might in the future become inspired to do some new ones. But - if I do - they would be unique and different from the above... This will remain a unique piece! almost 12 years ago
