This is what Andrew Bell said on the DYZPlastic production blog:
This is one of those designs that needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate! Nexus sports a smokey dark translucent body and carries the latest generation flagship 4G LTE GSM dual band tri force quadruple card 5GHz 5" HD* completely non-functional miniature Nexus phone accessory.
The bit about being a business man and iPhone owner was written by whoever wrote that Trampt news item. Everyone knows Andrew Bell uses Android, he's not exactly quiet about it, lol.
Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to clarify.

HelloKatie v Totally agree. I'm not normally a fan of logos slapped on things either, but I will admit I'm an Android fan girl, the toy series and the OS, so I honestly don't mind the Nexus logo on this one. Plus, I lime the smokey color with the brightness of the logo, I think it works. Now the Metro PCS android, I don't like, it just looks bad. over 11 years ago
HelloKatie v Also, if you were the one who wrote that news item, I apologize if I came off snarky or anything like that. Totally wasn't trying to be a jerk, just wanted to clarify things for peeps in this thread. :) over 11 years ago
"As a businessman I understand why Google wants to have some 'commercial' designs, but as a collector I generally find these Androids pretty weak. Though I'm also and iPhone owner, so you can read however you want into that statement. This Android - Series 3 design sports a smokey dark translucent body and carries the latest generation flagship 4G LTE GSM dual band tri force quadruple card 5GHz 5" HD* completely non-functional miniature Nexus phone accessory."
That's what he said. The design is weak because he is not stepping up to the plate with design work;) Just saying. I cannot wait till I release my line!

Well, I don't believe that is Andrew Bell who wrote that, if that is what you are getting at. This dude just writes for Trampt. Bell is 115% behind the Android line, and I could not see him relinquishing it in the future.
By the way, Bell owns an Android phone, thus spurring his idea for this line of vinyl over 11 years ago
I cannot believe the designer of this "Vinyl" owns an iPhone! Also said what he said about the product.

broth6 what did Andrew Bell say? over 11 years ago
keegan a Wow, sorry for the confusion. I wrote this and I'm the owner of an iphone. The line describing the design was from Andrew's blog that talks about the technical specs of the nexus phone was what I didn't understand over 11 years ago
dahem0n I think he was just mocking with super specs for a vinyl non functional phone this design has. over 11 years ago

keegan a Andrew definitely uses an Android. I'm a businessman and iPhone user who doesn't understand the general appeal of any logo slapped on a designer toy. However, I understand why Google wants to include a few product centric designs rather than ones that artist designed. over 11 years ago
