"This is an upside down flag. It was intentionally created this way. It is a conventional protocol to indicate an emergency or to indicate a state of war. I think this is as appropriate now as it was when I made it in late 2016. I love this country but I am disgraced by things these days. I stand with black lives matter. I have had enough of the senseless killing of unarmed Black men in America. We are supposed to be better than this but we have a long way to go. Things have been unjust for so many for so long that we just shrug our shoulders and say “it’s just the way it is”. This doesn’t work anymore. I will use my voice as a white male to speak equality. To correct those who speak ill. There is strength in solidarity." - Robert
