As did with "Bang Bang", I wanted this piece to be also a mix of beauty, hope, and satire that could be interpreted in each viewers perspective. When I was invited to live paint during an event at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, Hollywood, at the end of 2012, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to start the piece. Take note of the unraveling of the ski mask. The skirt with camouflage pattern of the world map. The peace symbol keychain. The bikini top rhinestoned in stars and stripes. The Mickey Mouse hat with the Mickey skull. The tattoo of a partial quote by Apple, Inc. on her arm. The origami boat symbolizing Dream. . . and of course, her.
