Squadt Assembly 2.0

Join us the evening of Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 (7-10pm) for the grand opening of Squadt Assembly 20, a pop-up shop and exhibit by Playge in collaboration with Industry Print Shop, Threezero and Rotofugi. We worked with Playge artist Ferg in 2013 for the first Squadt Assembly, where excited fans were able to choose from a variety of 6-inch Squadt designer vinyl figure bodies and then assemble their own creation from an array of options. Now we’re doing it again, but bigger and better…Squadt Assembly 20 will feature the debut of the long-awaited 20-inch tall Squadt! Attendees of the opening reception will be able to pick either a 20-inch Squadt or a 6-inch Squadt with Gassed helmet (or one of each) and then choose from a variety of weapons, lenses, accessories and garments to complete their very own custom figure including a few extra special in-store only exclusive options! To up the ante and bring the number of custom options to an insane number, Playge has partnered with Industry Print Shop to perform live screen printing during the grand opening. Attendees will not only be able to choose from an array of garment options, but will then be able to choose from a selection of artwork by Ferg and friends to be screen printed on them while they wait! Conjuring Mischief

We’re incredibly excited to celebrate the 3-year anniversary of our gallery, Stranger Factory. And what better way to celebrate than with Conjuring Mischief, a platform show for our mascot the Skelve! We’ve invited some of our friends and fellow artists to participate, and the roster for the show features some incredible talent.

Trigger II

Stranger Factory is excited to ring in the new year with the highly anticipated collaboration exhibit, “Trigger II”. Featuring a group of collaborative pieces created by Brandt Peters and Clay “FERG” Ferguson, the first Trigger exhibit sold out almost immediately and fans haven’t stopped clamoring for more. The show will include custom characters from FERG’s highly sought after “Squadt” toy line, including the two collaborative lines with Brandt Peters: Trouble Boys (based on different eras of American crime) and the all new Terrorboys series, based on slasher horror exploitation movies from the late ’70s. Available at this exhibit will be sketches, drawings and paintings, as well as custom figures from both artists.

Squadt Assembly

Squadt Assembly is a pop-up store and exhibit by Playge (Ferg x Threezero) hosted at Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago - April 5-28, 2013. Attendees will be able to choose from a library of limited edition parts, clothing and accessories designed by FERG and manufactured by Threezero exclusively for this show to build their own custom Squadt figure. A range of Squadt related merchandise, prints and other goodies will also be available.

Sametan: Don't Tread On Me

SAMETAN: DON'T TREAD ON ME PangeaSeed in collaboration with Tokyo-based vinyl toy designer Cometdebris (Koji Harmon), are pleased to announce our latest shark-saving effort: Sametan – Don’t Tread on Me For one weekend only, March 29-30, 2013, at the Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco, we will host a one of a kind art exhibition featuring 30 custom Sametan vinyl figures designed by 30 global artists including Frank Kozik, Buff Monster, Jenn Porreca and many more. Through this unique event we aim to generate greater awareness for the global plight of sharks and the importance of our oceans via creative and entertaining avenues in order to raise critical funding to support PangeaSeed’s ongoing efforts and groundbreaking projects. Proceeds raised through the sales of the vinyl figures will help fund PangeaSeed’s 2014 “Year of Living Dangerously” art tour of Asia. Because Asia is ground zero for the trade and consumption of many endangered species, the 2014 Asian event will reach six major Asian cities extending our core message to critical audiences.
