2012 will be over in a few short hours, and after being inspired by the TOYSREVIL post of Andy's top 10 purchases of 2012 I decided to write my own list. This is the first year that I actually purcased a custom toy, in fact... [ read more ]
Since their release back in 2010 I really wanted a complete set of 'Sketchup' series Dunnys from the 2010 Series; however, I'm not going to drop $250+ on two 3" Dunnys just to pick up the Mustard & Mayo. I love these guys... [ read more ]

I remember checking out the Shepard Fairey show at the ICA a few year back, but I haven't heard of many street art shows making their way to Boston. Though it could be that I never really plugged into the scene that well as I'm sure there are many things I don't know about. That's why it was refreshing to see this post by Marka27 and this new show at Fourthwall Project called 'Fear No Art 4'. The last show was apparently in Boston in 2009 & Chicago before that, but that time was right on the cusp of me getting into street art, designer toys, etc. I don't know much about the show yet, or who will be attendance at the opening, but rest assured we will cover it.... There are a couple guys that I work with in my day job who know I collect toys, and that I run Trampt. For the last month their Android loving impatience had been annoying the crap out of me as they think I have a direct connection to everyone in the toy world. I kept telling them I have no idea when Series 3 Androids are coming out or why Andrew Bell was personally withholding their toys. It seems like their wait won't be for much longer as Series 3 will be hitting retailers in a week or two. This shot of '8-Ball Hustler' by SketOne makes me really hope if I tip him over it will tell me my future ... I have big dreams. Anyway, get your wallets ready and look for an official release from you favorite store soon.... [ read more ]
A few months back I got to hear MAD pitching this idea during a dinner a Foxwoods and I have to say that I'm stoked Kidrobot listened ... my only problem is I won't be in Vegas. If you are anywhere near the Mandalay Bay then you have to see these two masters thrown down, MAD and Sket One, live at the MAGIC tradeshow August 20th & 21st. Seeing one 4' Dunny was pretty awesome, but seeing two being painted up by two amazing artists would be unreal. Good luck guys, going to have to flip a coin to pick a winner of this one.... Welcome to Operation: Reputation is King 5 ... the seventh weekly giveaway for the 100 Day Hu$tle. Last week we rewarded a random member who earned reputation instead of just rewarding the member who has the most time to enter items into the site and we think it worked out pretty well. So this week it's more of the same, the more activities you do on the site that earn Reputation then the more entries you have into this weeks giveaway. This weeks prize is a 'GID Bacon' MadL by Sket-One donated by Wizard Sleeve Toys so in order to qualify for this giveaway you also have to give @WSTworldwide a follow on twitter. Even though we announced today we are counting all activity starting 12:01am 5/7 until the close at 11:59pm 5/13... [ read more ]
Those familiar with the customs & APs of Sket-One know that he is not a slouch when it comes to giving some sort of "extra bang for your buck," but the striking look of his upcoming Fatcap AP set might impress even them. Simple but brilliant easily describes the idea of placing his Purple & Gold "Cover the Cap" designs alongside a custom printed paint can with some stickers, but the overall effect is striking and memorable. While there is no official release date set, expect this to appears in Sket-One's online shop (sketone.storenvy.com soon. Price to be determined.... [ read more ]
