No trophies for us at the DTA but someone on Trampt wonDTA Giveaway winner announced
So we were going to cover the event like one of those professional blogs, but a dead cell phone and a copious amount of drinks prevented that. Even though we didn't win spankystokes definitely deserved it with the amount of news he's been pushing out this year. My only beef with the category is to not call it 'Best Blog' next year ... so we might have a shot at winning. :) I also love that the person who has probably spent $2+ million on his art collection lost 'Best Collection' to someone that laid their collection out by color. Next month Super7 is dropping new vinyl on both coastsCosmic Mongolion & Meltdown Taoking available at NYCC & APE
I'm not sure how often a bi-coastal release happens, but if anyone can pull it off it would be Super7. They'll be dropping a new Mongolion and Taoking at both APE and NYCCthis October. First up in the Cosmic Mongolion from L'Amour Supreme, cast in Translucent Purple vinyl with Metallic Glitter highlights embedded throughout, and detailed with Metallic Silver, Red, Black, and Dark Violet sprays for $65. Second is the Meltdown Taoking by Geof Darrow, is cast in Meltdown Maroon vinyl with Red, Yellow, Orange, and Silver Sprays for $95. In between all the NYCC announcements from Myplasticheart, they've snuck in an quick in-store release of 9 custom Baby Huey's from L'Amour Supreme. This set of 9 Baby Hell Edition features a solid red sofubi base with blue/black spray and hand painted details. These will be blind-bagged and include 2 unpainted mixed parts versions, and accompanied by a special edition 11" x 17" print featuring Baby Hell.
