The Giant robot Biennale 3 - until the 20th january 2013 at the JANM L.A.!

Yesterday, I went to the Giant Robot Biennale 3. Let me tell you I had a great time. The Biennale exhibition is fresh. It is a mind-opener. It takes place at the Japanese American National Museum in the heart of Little Tokyo - Los Angeles. Go back to the roots: Inspiring designs, awesome prospectives, terrific pop artists. The exhibition has an audio cell-phonic guide tour, how cool is that!

The artists: Albert Reyes made me shiver with a deranged south Pasadena cruel trip installation. Deth P. Sun took me in an oozing multifaceted awaken dream, Rob Sato made me travel with his fractal brueghelo-dalian transdimensionnal visions. But also Eishi Takaoka, Saelee Oh, Ako Castuera, Sean Chao, Zach Gage, David Horvath and Masakatsu Sashie, who moved me with stillness.

A lovely, lively two floors installation of joy and poetry.

Nice ... really want to move to LA so I can go experience some of these Galleries first hand. Always fun to write about it, but way more fun to take it all in up close.
