vinyl toy pilgrims

as i am a big fan of travelling, social interaction and different cultures i started to make it a habbit to stop by every vinyl toy and design affiliated venue i could when i was travelling.
i often took the time way ahead of my trip to connect to people which i knew were into "designer" toys by using all sorts of social media plattforms to gather all available information about possible stops on my way.
this lead me to encounter such unique venues like the pxl+ gallery in orlando, atticus in barcelona, zakka corp in new york, tate's comics in fort lauderdale and so on.
to somehow share my findings i started a list on foursquare and now would like you to help me to further expand this list:

That's awesome ... we've actually got a long term plan after Marketplace for another section called TheNetwork which would list Galleries/Stores, events, meetups, trading parties, etc to help collectors online & out in the real world.

Hi Miles, I see on your foursquare that you've been to Toitoy, thats my local spot! How beautiful is Cape Town?!!
Just after I started collecting a friend of mine went to South America, he popped by to say his goodbyes, and without me knowing he pocketed my Quetzalcoatl - Azteca Dunny series. Clearly when I noticed, i freaked out, as it was one of my prized toys!
I contacted him via email, and told him in a not so savoury way that i had better get my toy back - with all pieces still attached OR ELSE!!!! After some time I thought about the situation and realised, if nothing went wrong, this could be super rad, my Azteca was visiting the Aztec ruins!!!
Lucky for him i got my vinyl back in one piece, and got promised some sick pics for my trauma. still waiting... :P

would love to see those pics (if you ever get them).
sadly i haven't gotten to cape town yet and toitoy is still on my todo list, but i hope to get there some time because the customs i saw online for the "i want your munny" show looked awesome and the venue looks real sweet too!

Awesome Project! I'm going to Houston Texas at the end of May, and didn't see any stores listed on the Foursquare. Does anyone know any?

Easily_Amused I'm curious why you didn't hook up one of those maps you see on other blogs and such that show generally where your readers are loccated and if there are any interesting clusters? Is that part of the network? about 12 years ago
