I currently look at Vinyl Creep (http://www.vinyl-creep.net/Main_Page) as my Wiki when I want to know about Artists or their works that have been produced in the past. However, I noticed that a lot of the entries are Stubs...
What I want to know is, what other Wiki's are out there, and do you think one could be added to this site?

Not sure what you mean Jason. Trampt is a wiki, just in a more user friendly format. All items in the library are linked to artist, platform, manufactuere, etc portfolios which would act like wiki pages. Also, in your other comment looking for reference material there are plenty of vinyl toy books like I Am Plastic or Fully Vinyl that have many older pieces and info about the artists that made them.

keegan a not a problem. All things can be edited just like a wiki, we just tried to make it a bit more simple and prettier. :) about 12 years ago
Easily_Amused It is definitely pretty! And I've not had difficulty navigating, more just my own learning curve... about 12 years ago
i am pretty sure anyone who wants can update / add to vinyl creep. you can already search artists here, see a brief profile, the platforms they have created or worked on and a link to their website & twitter, im not sure more is needed (imho) , what info do you feel is missibg here?

Easily_Amused I guess I'd like more Reference material. Maybe I should ask for a list of reference books and magazines instead? about 12 years ago
Another question, does Trampt get paid for a click on the Amazon ads, or does it gt a commision if I click on the add and then buy the book?

blake a @Easily_Amused with regard to a "book section"... we may be adding a books panel to artist portfolio pages similar to the "related items" panel on product pages so you can see books the given artist was involved in. We think that would be another good way to help artists promote the projects they have worked on. about 12 years ago
Easily_Amused @blake: Wow, yeah! I would appreciate that alot. @Keegan, thanks will do. about 12 years ago
Thanks fot all your replies!
I had another question in response to Keegan and others responses below about books.
Is there a list floating on here or out on the web for the must read books on the Art Toy market? If not can you pull together some reccomendations of must reads and where to get them? I was able to find I Am Plastic on Amazon, but not Fully Vinyl (Is that Full Vinyl? That is $450 on Amazon).
P.S.
Thanks Keegan I will be ordering I Am Plastic tonight!

HoodedGrub m They are both great books as coffee table books. I think someone charging $450 for a book is just chancing it. I see it for $140 on eBay. http://goo.gl/3NqK2 about 12 years ago
Easily_Amused Thanks! I will definitely shop around. about 12 years ago
For ThreeA Toys, try the ThreeA Toys Wiki. I even donated to keep it going. ;)

Easily_Amused I'm a bit of a tech ludite...I'm use to the more basic layouts and heavier text/information like on Wikipedia and haven't completely figured out all the functions on this new site... So, I am issuing an appology to all for my confusion here. about 12 years ago
