When KR's Dunny 2009 series was out I had no problem selling dupes of Luke Chuehs and Mori Chacks because so many people were collecting for "armies" (collecting a metric ass ton of the same exact figure, to display side by side). I personally don't understand the desire to do this. Anybody out there who does it who can explain the appeal? Is it a popular thing to do. (Forgive my ignorance.)

I've never heard of doing this before, but it sounds interesting. If anyone does this please share some pics!

Yeah it is a wierd thing to do but I feel like its just done by the uber toy nerd who is trying to be different and maybe create a unique photo or something. Obviously its primarily done with dunnys or other cheap crap. My other theory is that now when you go to a trading party its to the point where your never going to get what you want because everyone is looking for the same one or trying to trade for it, and when that happens everyone is usually stuck with the same dupes. So when everyone has the same dupes then people just start trading for something they already have....hence building an army....lol
