I was just wondering how everyone cleans their flocked toys? I don't keep my toys in cases and I find the flocked ones attract dust really easily and end up looking kind of grubby. Any tips would be appreciated!

Only recently got my first flocked toy, so haven't had a need to clean it yet. However, after reading about Keegan's comment about Treeson, an idea came to mind. Would compressed air help with cleaning the treeson and potentially flock, or a dry swiffer sheet? =)

I only have a few, but I generally just wipe them off with a plain (non-lotion) kleenex or cloth. Most of my toys are in cabinets now so they don't collect too much dust anymore. So far the hardest toy for me to clean was my Treeson before putting it in the cabinet. Dust in every single crevice. :)

I don't own any, but this is an interesting question... Heck, I still wonder how they flock them in the first place.

keegan a I used to have tons of that around the house back when I used to fix PC's in my teens. I think it would be great, I just keep forgetting to buy some. :) over 11 years ago
