Emelie Jensen was born in a town called Norrköping in Southern Sweden. This is where she developed a burning passion for art and design in all its forms. Love for Art My love for art has always been there. I have been drawing and doodling since I can remember. This has always been my escape and my passion. I started my career as a professional artist about 12 years ago. This was the time when I decided that I wanted to make a living out of my art as a tattooist. I spent many years studying the art of tattooing along side skilled and experienced tattooists and one day I found myself in the seat where I always imagined myself. After practicing the profession for some time I didn't find tattooing as rewarding, art wise, as I thought I would. After allot of thinking and realization, I decided to give up my dream to find a new path. And so I did. I left Sweden to work in the UK and this is where I am still laying down the building blocks of my future. I started studying 3D Computer Animation. After three years of studying I came out of Swansea Metropolitan University with a 2:1 Fonzo is a designer art toy created by Venezuelan art collective Burundanga Design in collaboration with Freak Store. Inspired by the French bulldog owned by Freak Store’s proprietors, Fonzo serves as both an art piece and the store’s mascot. The original Fonzo figure stands 6 inches tall and features a stylized French bulldog with a rounded form and expressive features, providing a versatile canvas for artistic customization. The design has also been expanded into a series called “Fonzo & Friends,” introducing characters like Coco, Lucas, and Bertha, further enriching the Fonzo universe. Founded in September 2011 by Lee McSweeney and Jayne Goddard, Collect and Display began it’s journey into the vinyl toy scene. A common interest in the history of the artists involved in the pieces brought the idea of Collect and Display and so the company was created. Selling solely Star Wars plush on eBay we set out to prove ourselves to the toy industry. By providing a second to none customer service we stood out to the avid EBay shoppers. Within months a website was born and our determination paid off as we took our first step towards the Vinyl Scene. Starting with the most simple but popular products including the wonderful DIY selection from Kidrobot we began to get noticed and began to sell out. New stock and new product variants were taken on rapidly. Lessons were learnt but sales kept us busy. 1 Year on and a handful of amazing suppliers under our belt we have a whole new website, a whole new selection of stock and a very busy office.
