Description
The Metallurgical Evaporator started out as an Epoch research project focused on the problem of cleaning up ancient landfill sites. No new landfills had been created for the best part of century, but the old ones were still there and still causing problems for the surrounding area. The Harmonic Resonator Tube found at the heart of all current molecular recyclers was excellent for the day-to-day recycling requirements of modern society, but it was slow, bulky and poorly suited to dealing with the millions of tonnes of buried global waste.
