Fonzo is a designer art toy created by Venezuelan art collective Burundanga Design in collaboration with Freak Store. Inspired by the French bulldog owned by Freak Store’s proprietors, Fonzo serves as both an art piece and the store’s mascot. The original Fonzo figure stands 6 inches tall and features a stylized French bulldog with a rounded form and expressive features, providing a versatile canvas for artistic customization. The design has also been expanded into a series called “Fonzo & Friends,” introducing characters like Coco, Lucas, and Bertha, further enriching the Fonzo universe. A brazilian self-taught illustrator, has been professionally illustrating since 1987 for advertising campaigns, magazines, newspapers, children's books and others. He is also a portrait artist, cartoonist, graphic designer, sculptor and airbrusher. Fell in love with designer toys in 2007 and since then collects, produces and customizes toys.
