Mooncake was a stray cat that we adopted that is seen on our pictures. She is very friendly. Black cats are less likely picked up in shelters due to the bad luck stereotype. Project Mooncake was started to raise love and awareness and is an ode to black cats everywhere. Purridge as a black cat wears a braided scarf that symbolizes our commitment to join our efforts in making this happen. Each plush is 100% Handmade by Designer Artist Cheri Ong in Torrance, CA USA, all hand sewn using Soft Fleece, Felt, Polyester Fiberfill, No buttons, No plastic eyes that any small children could eat.
