Two of them have grown continuously, side by side, on the same branch. From the day they were able to snap open their sticky eyes, they would watch each other through the misty fruit gel. Each evolved from a blurry nucleus, quickly taking the shape of a fine young noop. The twins emerge from the torn membranes and stretchy fluids that remain of their shells. Their innocence radiates around them, causing a serene and blissful vibration. Their futures are sacred, and will be defended by the same shark visors that have been worn by many noops before them.
