The extra accessory eyeball fits into stomach hole, or the hole in the back of the head. James Marshall is one of the most exciting artists to emerge from the burgeoning Brooklyn art scene in a long while. This 30 something artist received a BFA at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1995, but it seems he takes as much inspiration from street art, graffiti culture and television as he does from his formal education. In his diverse career that spans over a decade Dalek has worked as an assistant to Takashi Murakami, studied art and biology, and exhibited widely. His artwork has been shown at London's Apart Gallery, Alife in New York, and The Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington DC, to name just a few. He has recently completed exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York and Paris.
