About this Platform

Andrew, an avid Android user himself, teamed up with some friends at Google to bring their little green mascot to life. Series 1 features 12 different designs in blind-boxed cases of 16. Pick up a few and try your luck, or grab a whole case to secure a nearly-full set. Be on the lookout for some super rare chase editions. Each vinyl figure stands 3” tall and features a rotating head and arms. Dyzplastic is the designer toy brand created by Andrew Bell, a well-known artist and toy designer. The brand is most recognized for producing high-quality vinyl figures, often featuring Bell’s signature blend of whimsical, creepy, and playful aesthetics. One of Dyzplastic’s most famous projects is the Android Mini Collectibles series, created in collaboration with Google. These figures are based on the Android OS mascot and come in a variety of artistic designs, including collaborations with different artists. Aside from Android figures, Dyzplastic has also produced original designer toys, often inspired by Bell’s dark yet humorous take on creatures, food, and pop culture. Many of the brand’s creations reflect his artistic style, which blends soft curves, bold colors, and surreal, sometimes unsettling, themes. DKE Toys is a renowned American company specializing in designer toys, collectibles, and limited-edition art pieces. Founded in 2002, DKE Toys has become a key player in the designer toy scene, known for its unique collaborations with artists, custom toys, and pop culture-inspired releases. The company has developed a reputation for creating high-quality, highly collectible figures that often blend urban art, pop culture references, and nostalgic themes. DKE Toys works with a diverse roster of artists and designers to create limited-run figures that often reflect a blend of pop culture, street art, and fine art. Artists involved in DKE releases include well-known names in the designer toy world, such as Frank Kozik, Eric So, Luke Chueh, and many others. Andrew was born in England in 1978. His family moved several times until settling into the eastern US in the mid 1980's. He has lived and worked in New York since 1996. Andrew's work spans a wide spectrum of mediums from illustrations and paintings to toys and sculptures. Much of his work is brought together by a sense of humor that often belies a more serious and sombre message. His work has been featured in solo and group gallery shows from LA to Paris and has been covered by publications such as The New York Times and Wired.
