Nathan Hamill has teamed up with Julie B from Pretty in Plastic to produce two versions of his Kammu that are both dropping this weekend. The Gold Kammu priced at $200 & limited to 3 pieces will be part of the TAG Anniversary Show this Saturday 9.15 at Toy Art Gallery. Celebrate TAG's 1st Anniversary at Melrose this SaturdayToy Art Gallery Anniversary Show 2012 on 9/15
This month has been Toy Art Gallery's first full year in it's new location on Melrose, and to celebrate they've invited 50+ artists to create exclusive editions, one-of-a-kind custom toys and works of art, limited edition apparel, and more. The 'TAG Anniversary Show' will open it's doors Saturday 9/15 starting at 7pm and it will run until 10pm. Jan Calleja taking his customs to another worldCustom Qees from Jan Calleja for Toy Art Gallery Anniversary Show
From the few pieces I've seen today for the TAG Anniversary Show, it looks like Toy Art Gallery will be the place to be September 15th. I don't think I will be more impressed than what industrial customizer, most known for his hyper-realistic custom cars & planes, Jan Calleja has produced. Two Qee's transformed into space shuttles, the DiscoveQee and the Blizzard Mon. I know they'll be out of my price range, however if you have the cash I would stand in line early to snag one or both of these guys.... [ read more ]
