This is now the second mystery release from Monster Worship ... perhaps for NYCC? It's not a mystery because it was unexpected or because it's only a partial reveal, but a mystery because I have no idea what booth these figures are going to be sold. EDIT - these guys will be sold at the Onell Design Booth (#3216) during NYCC. This new Mini Greasebat popped up on Jeff Lamm's facebook feed a few minutes ago with no word on where it would be show/available. Like the original Greasebat the sculpting was done by Chauskoskis and produced by Monster Worship. More info when we know it.... [ read more ]
So found these images over on toysrevil.net saying these two GID Johnny Ryan figures were supposed to drop at NYCC . However, beyond that there is no mention of these from Johnny Ryan's or Monster Worship's site. So the only things I know about the new GID versions of Cannibal Fuckface and Rottweiler Herpes is they're supposed to be at NYCC (no idea which booth), I laugh to myself every time I say either name, and I remember Frank Kozik having a ton of them after SDCC. The releases for NYCC are coming pretty fast & furious with the con opening in just 7 day, but Vin over at Myplasticheart isn't slowing up. He's dropping a new Greasebat colorway as a tribute to Chauskoskis's original prototype of this great Jeff Lamm character which is produced by Monster Worship. This 'Olive Greasebat exclusive is an olive sofubi base and a grey paint rub and will be available for $85 at the opening of the Con. If you need to pick up this colorway I suggest you move fast over to the MPH Booth #3313 to pick it up since there is no word on how many they have on-hand.... [ read more ]
