Vinyl on Vinyl is an eclectic venue merging art, toys and music in one space. The art gallery is dedicated to featuring modern-day pop culture artists seeking to find a venue to showcase and explore their art amidst the conventional setting. The gallery space reflects the lifestyle and passion of its artists influenced by contemporary, street and underground art.
Its uniqueness lies in selecting artists who delve into various contemporary and cultural interests and immediate experiences through the visual language and techniques of commercial and fine art alike.
Vinyl on Vinyl has presented up coming and established artists from the local art scene as well as featured art works and exhibitions by international artists in the same genre. Among the international artists that have graced the gallery were Tara Mcpherson and Angry Woebots (USA), Mark Landwehr of Coarsetoys (Germany) and Arkiv Vilmansa (Indonesia).
The gallery has also pioneered and collaborated in off beat local exhibitions like Gabby Tiongson’s NEURANA, Ramona Dela Cruz Gaston’s RAMONA IN THE DETAILS and local street artist UNGGA’s ELEVEN ELVA. It has also kicked off the first VINYL + SPLASH convention, the first contemporary and comic art mash up in the country.
Vinyl on Vinyl continues to create a portal where the local and international art community can transcend, shaping its mission to be the catalyst for the Pop Pluralism movement in the Philippines.
