Another deployment snafu prevented us from getting up our weekly featured artists up in time. I think it's time for some office assistants/interns or something to keep things rolling smoother around here. As per usual all these artists are great and have some new stuff going on we think you should know about. Generally it's a bunch of kick-ass stuff that I just really want to get my hands on. Anyway, on to our featured artists

Featured for Designer Toys: Kronk

Kronk is so badass that factories can't even keep up painting his Labbit designs. Thankfully his new piece, from Kidrobot, called Love Birds releases next week in four different colors. It appears to be blind boxed, but hopefully there is a way to get all four colors easily. We first saw the Love Bird when it was used as a gift for guests at Kronks wedding. Featured for Custom Toys: Stuart Witter

While I've seen a variety of Stuart's work around the toy blogs I honestly don't know much about him. What I do know is what I can see in the quality of his work. His stylistic character design requires some serious sculpting, similarly to someone like Chris Ryniak, but still remains true to the original piece. Featured for Art Prints: Tim Doyle

Tim recently had a piece in the Blunt Graffix Dead Rockstars show at Spoke Art's last week, but it was his last show Unreal Estate show at Spoke Art that just blew me away. The entire show sold out in minutes, but thankfully I was able to pick up 5 prints which currently hang in the studio. Featured for Original Art: Jim Mahfood

While I'm not familiar with Jim's fine art career I did enjoy his work on the Clerks comic series which currently sits on my shelves. Seeing as our members took the time to enter over 560 pieces of his work I definitely had call out Jim so everyone here gets more familiar with his work too. There are VERY few artists that can combine quality and the sheer volume of work that he's produced over the years.
