Blake and I are working hard on three big features that we'll be rolling out over the next few weeks before NYCC so the Newswire has become a bit of a neglected step-child at the moment. Once NYCC has come and gone I will shift part of my development time to publishing more news and reaching out for more feedback so we keep building a better site over the next year. In the meantime here are some new featured artists which should now update consistently every Monday morning.

Featured for Designer Toys: Bwana Spoons

The main reason I love Trampt is how many new artists/toys I have personally discovered as others users enter items into the Library. While I knew of Bwana Spoons from Steven the Bat, I didn't know many of the other figures he has created like my new favorite guy that I need to track down Boris The Bee.

Featured for Custom Toys: Sergio Mancini

I remember seeing Sergio's 'Dunny Chef' years ago on the Kidrobot boards and being impressed at how someone could produce a custom that looked manufacturer. Sergio also won the Mega Munnyworld contest this year so he'll be featured in the Dunny 2012 series. We're also hoping to have a few of his customs in the Trampt booth at NYCC, more on that as it develops.

Featured for Art Prints: Tyler Stout

Tyler is the main reason why I built out the 'art prints' section of Trampt since I have about 6-7 of his pieces. I thought we should really try and bridge the gap between current toy and print site by showcasing all the great works being created and not just focus on one aspect of their work. Get one of his pieces if you are quick enough.

Featured for Original Art: Damon Soule

This one is a bit late but Damon had his 'Then What Happened' show at Fecal Face Gallery which ended yesterday, but I thought was pretty amazing so I wanted to mention how awesome he is and to check out his work. I guess better late than never.
