I read the story about Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi and was a little bit surprised, it’s a little bit different than the Disney movie. I wanted to show my interpretation of this book. Pinocchio acts like a kid with many faces. He’s selfish, full of conscience only when he gets into trouble, makes many promises, lies all the time, but he’s also very naive and a big dreamer (and murdered the talking grasshopper). So I tried to show that using two kinds of masks. An evil one and a good one, huge lollipop, prison trousers, and making him sit on his conscience. Size: 11" x 7,5" Mixed media (polymer, wood, fabric ) Box included
