Originally from Pennsylvania, Jesse Phillips is currently living and working in Albuquerque, NM. He drew his early inspiration from his interest in creating art for comic books, which have remained a major influence on his work. While attending college, Jesse spent a year studying at the School of Design of Osaka, Japan where he became fascinated with graphic design. Jesse returned home with an interest in combining illustration with design. Creating Gig posters offered him an opportunity to to do just that while also allowing him to maintain a high level of artistic freedom. Jesse has made gig posters for the Shins, Morrissey, Radiohead, The Pixies, and has recently started making movie posters for a range of companies including Paramount's latest Star Trek film..
