In the early 90's, when Toshikazu Nozaka was a pro-skateboarder in Japan, he transitioned to learn Japanese traditional tattoo art.
His aim was to convey Japanese spirituality to as many people as possible by means of his artwork, for which he has been studying, Japanese culture and its inheritance very closely.
Currently, Nozaka works as a tattootist, skateboard maker, and international contemporary artist.
His work has been exhibited throughout Japan, the United States and Europe since 2003.
