Alch (Alchemy For Beginners)

Going under the tag name Alch, Neil Pascarella is an artist based out of New Haven CT. While strange and varied his art style focuses around life and the inner-workings of it all; from the micro to the macrocosm. The idea behind the name Alch comes from Alchemy For Beginners; a series of stories and illustrations created by Neil which through the careful study of alchemy (The medieval forerunner of chemistry based on the idea of the misinformation of matter) try to define us and the world around. Neil's current body of work consists of prints, paintings, CG Models and sculptures. Neil is currently working on creating his own toy line, beginning with the first of his whimsical characters "The Wind Bag," While maintaining a job as an art teacher. Neil Pascarella was born and raised in New Haven CT in 1987. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2010 with a BS in Art with a concentration in Education and Printmaking. He is currently working out of his studio in Branford CT.
