"Gift Wrapped" includes over 50 amazing artists who each created affordable pieces of art just in time of the Holidays. This 'cash and carry' show opens on Saturday, December 14th, 2013 with a reception from 6-9PM, with pieces being taken off the wall as they are sold; unsold pieces will remain on display until January 3rd, 2014. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media. Kozyndan are Los Angeles based mad scientists. They are working on a secret formula for controlled nuclear fusion, and are creating a line of edible chickens. For fun they like to take long deep breaths and dip their heads into bowls of raspberry jelly and lemon curd. They live indoors and don't paint on walls. The couple also moonlights as freelance illustrators.
