The Foomi is a miniature version of Kidrobot’s customizable vinyl figures, designed to inspire creativity and artistic expression. Standing at approximately 2 inches tall, Foomi features movable joints and a smooth surface, making it an ideal canvas for customization. Artists and enthusiasts can personalize Foomi using various mediums such as paint, markers, stickers, or other decorative elements. This DIY approach allows for a wide range of unique and personalized designs, contributing to the vibrant culture of designer toys. I'm a full time graphic designer and I moonlight as a toy customizer. I've been sculpting and painting my whole life but I've only been working with vinyl for the last 5 years. Much of my work revolves around existing pop culture because not only can I relate to that, but there is a common thread of experience throughout like minded people who can also relate to my work. I primarily do private commissions and about once a year I work on a new series which has yet to be planned for 2012.
