Since its establishment in 2012, Arch Enemy Arts has thrived as a centralized hub for artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts in Philadelphia's vibrant art scene. Dedicated to showcasing New Contemporary genres, the gallery has gained significant recognition serving as a platform for both emerging and established artists working both locally and internationally. Located in Philadelphia's historic Old City District, Arch Enemy Arts is committed to exhibiting artwork that embodies the New Contemporary Art Movement with emphasis on representational, dark surrealism, magical realism, post-graffiti, pop-surreal, illustrative, and macabre styles across a range of artistic mediums. Throughout its journey, Arch Enemy Arts has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of Philadelphia Magazine's "Best of Philly"™ Best Art Gallery for its 40th Anniversary issue. As the gallery approaches twelve years, it remains a prominent force in the Philadelphia art scene, continuously pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.
