About this Venue
The Toy Art Gallery is the first gallery of its kind to showcase and consult on high-end art toys and sculptures. Our goal is to showcase exciting, original, and new artists who use figurative sculpture as their primary medium of expression. We also focus on showing, collecting, and producing high end, limited edition, custom, and life-size toy sculptures. Our showroom and gallery is located in Hollywood, California. One of our specialties is to provide availability on rare and desirable toys, life-size figures, bronze sculptures, and one-of-a-kind custom figures created by some of the leading artists/toy designers from around the world. We also have an incredible selection of aftermarket fine art originals and prints created by the leading pop surrealist and low brow artists working today. Our aim is to provide the best works from these artists at a fair market value and priced to fit a variety of budgets. Pico Pico is a distinguished Japanese artist and toymaker celebrated for his innovative contributions to the sofubi (soft vinyl) art toy scene. Renowned for his intricate designs and masterful craftsmanship, Pico Pico has collaborated with various artists and toy companies, producing a diverse array of unique figures that resonate with collectors and enthusiasts. Pico Pico’s work has been showcased in various exhibitions, including a significant event at MEDICOM TOY PLUS in Omotesando Hills, celebrating his 20th anniversary as a kaiju artist. This exhibition featured over 50 custom-painted figures by renowned artists, highlighting his influence and standing in the sofubi community. Through his imaginative designs and collaborative projects, Pico Pico continues to enrich the art toy landscape, bridging traditional Japanese monster culture with contemporary artistry, and leaving a lasting impact on collectors and fellow artists alike. Toy Art Gallery is proud to present FAMOUS LAST WORDS, our farewell group shop. Featuring our friends Izumonster, Joseph Harmon, Kikkake Toy, Martin Ontiveros, Miscreation Toys, Restore, Pico Pico, T9G, and Uamou, this event will be one of our best yet with some incredible customs and limited editions. FAMOUS LAST WORDS is the last show at our current location at 7571 Melrose. We’ve loved the opportunity we’ve had to share our passion for art toys in the LA area and we will continue to do so in our online store and through our continued toy production.
