About this Artist
I’ve been using computers to make things for quite some time now, since the first 8-bit drawing programs, to the beginnings of the internet and gaming industries and now the amazing things that are being done with ultra fast processing and new input devices. Many times the projects that I work on involve the creative application of technology. I like doing all kinds of art, but particularly sculpture – digital or traditional. I make elaborate, complex structures out of resin. Some of them glow in the dark and look like little galaxies. It is a completely self-indulgent obsession with process. But they are really cool. Occasionally people let me show my art, which is the highest compliment. I guess I’m a bit of a philosophy geek, but my memory is too bad to be a good one. Ideas, however, get me excited. I’m a person who is constantly coming up with ideas. HERE is an example of a groundbreaking mobile app. Go ahead, steal it. MAKE IT! Oh wait, someone probably is already… I love it when a group of people can come together and collectively Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Located in the artistic community of Beacon, New York (home to the world famous Dia museum), Clutter Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. This profile is a mix of all designer toys made by the artists. We may reorganize this profile in the future and an artists that creates their own toys would have a separate manufacturer profile. The Clutter Gallery are thrilled to announce the third installment in their annual (In)Action Figures art exhibitions, which solely showcases action figure & other retro toy inspired works. Participating artists include 2bitHACK, 8-bit ZOMBIE, Ben Spencer (Galaxxor), BigMan Toys, Bombermat Toys, Credenda Studios, Danny Frankenstein, Dave Bondi, Death Cat Toys, DLL Customs, DMS, Eric Nilla, Falcon Toys, Fantastic Planet Toys, TheGodBeast, Goodleg Toys, Healeymade, Joshua Ben Longo, Kaboom Toys, Killer Bootlegs, LittleRubberGuys/Plastic !magination, ManOrMonster?, MonstreHero, MuscleThings Laboratories, Nama Niku, Schmucklord, Scott Wilkowski, Scraped Resin, Star Case, Suckadelic, The Tarantulas, Ted Terranova (Rivet Wars), Tone Tank, Triclops Studio, and TrueCast Studio.
