About this Artist
Haroshi is an artist who since 2003, has engaged in creating sculpture and installation works through a unique and self-taught method of utilizing parts from old skateboard decks. He continues to receive much acclaim and recognition as one of the few artists to embody the depths of contemporary street culture through various activities including his collaboration with the street brand HUF led by the late Keith Hufnagel, as well as his receipt of the BATB trophy. In his solo exhibition held at the NOVA section of Art Basel Miami Beach in 2018, and in “Tokyo Pop Underground” which travelled to the galleries of Jeffrey Deitch in New York and Los Angeles from 2019 to 2020, Haroshi presented a five-square meter large-scale installation which became a symbolic masterpiece of the exhibition and attracted a great deal of attention. OG Slick is an American artist and designer known for his distinctive style that blends elements of street art, graffiti, and pop culture. OG Slick, whose real name is Omar “OG Slick” Quiroga, has been a prominent figure in the urban art scene, creating works that are both visually bold and deeply connected to the streets. His signature style often incorporates vibrant colors, playful characters, and dynamic compositions, which have made his art highly recognizable. One of OG Slick’s most notable contributions to the art world is his creation of the “Slick” character, a cartoonish figure that has appeared in various art toys, prints, and murals. This character, along with many of his other creations, often embodies a sense of humor, rebellion, and individuality, which resonates with fans of contemporary urban art. His work often explores themes of identity, social commentary, and cultural influences, blending his personal experiences with his love for graffiti and street culture.
