About this Artist

Jason was born and raised in Southern California. He grew up in a room full of Transformers, M.A.S.K., GI Joe, He-man, Ghostbusters, Smurfs, Snorks, Jetsons, Scooby Doo and about every other knick knack you could think of. If you like old school video games and anything nerdy, you’re A-OK in his book! He started playing with digital art early on in high school and studied studio art and design at Cal State Long Beach. Immediately after graduating, he started working in the movie trailer industry. His works include The Dark Knight Rises, Inglourious Basterds, Repomen, Prototype 2, Dead Island and Marvel vs. Capcom to name a few. He entered the gallery scene in 2010 as a way to push himself creatively and see what kind of artistic mishaps his brain can produce.Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a neologism for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray". It was coined in 1991 by Jack Duganne, a printmaker working in the field, to represent any inkjet-based digital print used as fine art. The intent of that name was to distinguish commonly known industrial "Iris proofs" from the type of fine art prints artists were producing on those same types of printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such prints. We work with artists studios and game companies to design custom posters and collectibles for collectors and partners
