Creations all around the world have found their way onto trexi, including those from time-honoured brands such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Motorola, o.d.m., as well as prominent designers such as David Horvath, Brothersfree, Devilrobots, Mori Chack, and many more. Singapore-based Play Imaginative is dedicated to toy and character designs of the highest calibre. The team endeavours to be at the forefront of avant-garde design concepts by bridging the gap between art, graphic and product design, pop culture, as well as a variety of products and services. Play Imaginative’s flagship designer toy, trexi, is a remarkable medium for ideals and thoughts. Brought to life in the form of a 3-inch action figure with a unique rotating head and articulated limbs, trexi serves as an exceptional communication and branding platform. Storming the world market since its inception in 2004, trexi speaks the universal language of artists, designers, personalities and corporate organisations worldwide. To date, trexi has seen collaborations with celebrated designers such as Jon Burgerman, Tokidoki, Gary Baseman, Devilrobots, Mori Chack, Brothersfree, Furi Furi and many others; alongside well-loved corporate brands such as Coca-Cola, Motorola, Nike, and o.d.m. Jeremyville is an artist, product designer and author. He wrote the first book in the world on designer toys called 'Vinyl Will Kill', in 2003, and his 2nd book 'Jeremyville Sessions', (both published by IdN, distributed by Gingko). Jeremyville has been in group shows at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburg, Colette in Paris, the Madre Museum in Napoli, the 798 Arts District in Beijing, and Giant Robot in New York. Converse has released 2 Jeremyville Chuck Taylor high tops, and Kidrobot have released several of his designer toys. He also regularly speaks at creative conferences, having spoken at Pictoplasma in Berlin, and in Oslo, with upcoming conferences in Argentina, New York and Brazil. He now splits his time between his 2 studios in SoHo, New York City, and by the ocean at Bondi Beach in Sydney. He travels around the world often, and his studio is also wherever he opens up his sketchbook and starts drawing.
