In August 2002, adFunture Workshop released its first designer vinyl figure in Hong Kong and began its irreplaceable role within international designer figure movement. Graffiti artists, visual designers, art collectors became the company's creative force, supporters and customers. adFunture has grown to be the embodiment of designer figure culture, playing an integral part in its revolution. While it has grew into a Shanghai institution with both its global headquarter and factory setup in the vibrant city, adFunture also established itself internationally as a brand known for quality, styles and attitude. In the past 5 years, adFunture has worked with some of the most groundbreaking designers and artists of our generation, and it expects to expand the list with its setup of adFunture Europe in London. Marka27 is a prolific artist who is never confined to one medium. His graffiti has been seen in high profile galleries throughout the east and west coast and has shown along side artist such as Futura, and Sam Flores. His street murals/ graffiti have been published in several life style magazines and books, most recent "Graffiti Planet", "Burning New York" and "Graffiti L.A". Marka27 made his mark with his original "Audio Canvas" paintings with built in speakers, also his large speaker installations with legendary hiphop icons painted on the speaker boxes. The latest manifestations from the restless mind of Marka27 are the minigods, the first indigenous urban vinyl toys. Marka27 also collaborated with Bic Plastics to produce a new and fresh platform toy "Bic BUDDY" which has had huge success with it's first release of artists series one in the U.S featuring many well known and up and coming artists such as Brand Peters, Cope2, Mad, Sket, Kano, Jesse Hernandez, and others.
