"Altered Mindscapes" is a group art tribute to the cult film favorite They Live on its 25th anniversary. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media. Godmachine was born in Cardiff, South Wales, it was a difficult birth; his parents were in London at the time. He grew up on a steady diet of nothing, 2000AD comics and Santa Cruz skateboards. His art is born of Jim Philips, raised by Simon Bisley and adopted by his everyday influences; film, literature and music. He uses a Wacom tablet, Photoshop and coffee to achieve his detailed images that have made quite an impact on band merch, skateboards, posters, and clothing companies today. His most loved work so far is a poster for the movie Blade Runner. He owns 2 cats: Bear and Miss Boo Boo Kitty Fuck II and has a worrying amount of coffee mugs with cats on them. Although a vegetarian and a devout anti-theist; he collects animal skulls, horns and crucifixes along with old discarded black and white photos.
