A Little Stranger is the creative alias of Holly Astral, a UK-based artist and model maker renowned for her whimsical, creature-inspired art toys and plush designs. Operating from just outside London, Holly draws inspiration from animals, the natural world, and fantasy films to craft endearing and imaginative characters. Holly’s artistry is characterized by a fusion of soft textures, playful forms, and a gentle aesthetic that resonates with both children and adult collectors. Her most iconic creation is Cavey, a minimalist, bean-shaped character available in various materials, including plush, vinyl, and resin. Cavey has been featured in numerous themed releases, such as the “Toyconcaveysaurus” edition for ToyCon UK 2013.
