Night Dreamer Benny

Okedoki is a Vietnamese born Canadian artist. She has a background in arts and design and sociology at the University of Alberta. She believes art is a medium for connection and storytelling and hopes to create art that transcends and stirs memories of happier and simpler times in our lives. When Okedoki is not in the studio, she is in the clinic working as an acupuncturist and herbalist. She currently lives in Sherwood Park, Canada with her fur baby Bobbi. The 2nd Annual Designer Toy Awards will be held at the historic Providence NYC, one of New York City's most opulent venues! Located in Midtown Manhattan, Providence NYC was formerly a church and then a recording studio, where The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Guns N' Roses, John Lenon and many other legends recorded their magic. With 35-foot cathedral ceilings, multiple levels and a world-renowned full bar and kitchen, we couldn't be happier with our home for this year's ceremony! The Designer Toy Awards will be held on October 13th, 2012 (during New York Comic-Con weekend). Doors open — and the party starts — at 8:00 pm. The first 50 non-professionals through the door will receive an awesome Goodie Bag!
