Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.The world that I create is a world full of bubbly eyed creatures that dance and play. There isn’t supposed to be a deep meaning or purpose behind it. It is what it is. My characters float around wielding daggers, they talk about poop, and they vomit a lot. I don’t want them to worry about life. I want them to play and dance and be happy. I’ve chosen to become a professional cartoonist with my life. I have no real intentions of becoming rich or famous. I simply enjoy drawing fun, light-hearted pictures that make people smile. I don’t want to start an amusement park or have my characters printed on every lunch pail in America. The most I can dream of is to have a small apartment with my wife where we can have a nice garden and make artwork, comics, and music for people to enjoy. Maybe one day we’ll have children and they can enjoy the world we’ve created for them; a world of bubbly eyed creatures that dance and play.
