PickleBaby “Little Green Men” Show Announcement. Tonight May 16th 2015 (6pm-9pm) the invasion commences over Waldwick, NJ as all manner of PickleBaby descend to land at SubUrban Vinyl Designer Toy & Art Gallery! A list of earthly conspirators practicing a wide variety of artistic disciplines has been revealed. Time to gather up your magnetometer, Ronco pocket radar, panoptic digitally assisted video recorder and fellow UFO nut… hunters for a PickleBaby encounter of the 5th kind (partying w/ the aliens) at 4 Frederick Street Waldwick, NJ, 07463. Suburban Vinyl is a well-known designer toy store and art gallery based in the United States, specializing in collectible designer toys, limited-edition figures, and unique art pieces. Standing 8.25" at the back of the head, w/ magnetic articulation at arms and neck, the injured alien fashioned a body out of the first Earthly organic matter he came in contact w/, namely the abandoned cucumber patch he crashed in and the bones of the hapless pickle farmer buried there. PJ was born in Hertfordshire with a mixed Thai and English heritage. Throughout his childhood a convergent flame manifested in his spirit composed of his love for the natural world, toys, animation and art. Equipped with an early obsession for collecting everything from Simpsons comics and Pokémon cards, to fossils and minerals from museum gift shops, to creepy crawlies uncovered from beneath garden rocks, temporarily housed and observed in takeaway boxes, to moulded plastic animals and Lego. All of which eventually lead him to the world of designer toys. After discovering the custom toy scene in the heart of London and sliding into many an artists DMs for all the tips and tricks he could soak up, PJ purchased his first block of Super Sculpey and got to work. Making and selling his first handmade toys at age 15 in 2012. This passion continued to burn bright and PJ made it his mission after coming home from school to sit at his desk and sculpt, allowing his mind to be transported into the fantasy word his creations inhabited.
