Collaborating with artists worldwide, we produce outstanding art figures with exceptional quality. While art figures are our core focus, Mighty Jaxx also serves as a outlet for us to turn extraordinary ideas into reality. We collaborated with well known Singaporean artist, Clogtwo, for our first figure. 2012 will see us releasing a few more prototypes including art figures and functional design for the art toy community. Sanrio, best known for its globally beloved characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll, has also made a significant impact in the art toy world by blending its signature kawaii aesthetic with designer toy culture. While primarily a mass-market brand, Sanrio has collaborated with various artists, toy designers, and streetwear brands to create limited-edition, collectible figures that appeal to both casual fans and serious art toy collectors. Sanrio has worked with brands like Medicom Toy (BE@RBRICK), Kidrobot, and Mighty Jaxx, as well as artists like Jason Freeny, who has reimagined characters like Hello Kitty in his signature anatomical dissection style. By partnering with brands like BAPE, UNIQLO, and Nike, Sanrio has merged fashion, street culture, and art toys, making its characters more appealing to collectors beyond traditional fans. While Sanrio remains rooted in cute and mainstream appeal, its willingness to explore the art toy space through collaborations and reimaginings has made it a versatile and collectible presence in the designer toy scene. Jason Freeny is a New York based sculptor and toy designer. Voted "2014 Fan Favorite" by Clutter Magazine readers, Freeny blurs the lines between toy design, art, science and teaching. Known for his iconic anatomical character dissections, Jason utilizes his industrial design prototyping techniques to create hyper-polished, hand made sculptures that are often confused as actual mass produced toys. Openly displaying his process and techniques in extensive work-in-progress posts on social media as an online classroom (Facebook) (Instagram) Born in Silver Spring Maryland, Jason studied industrial design at Pratt Institute and spent most of his early career in production, retail and properties design with MTV Networks and ESPN before going solo in 2010. Since 2006, Jason has been meticulously exploring the innards of some of our favorite characters for our enjoyment.
