In August 2002, adFunture Workshop released its first designer vinyl figure in Hong Kong and began its irreplaceable role within international designer figure movement. Graffiti artists, visual designers, art collectors became the company's creative force, supporters and customers. adFunture has grown to be the embodiment of designer figure culture, playing an integral part in its revolution. While it has grew into a Shanghai institution with both its global headquarter and factory setup in the vibrant city, adFunture also established itself internationally as a brand known for quality, styles and attitude. In the past 5 years, adFunture has worked with some of the most groundbreaking designers and artists of our generation, and it expects to expand the list with its setup of adFunture Europe in London. Rotofugi Designer Toy Store & Gallery, established in July 2004, is located on the border of Chicago's Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods in a beautiful vintage building. Since opening, Rotofugi has grown to become one of the world's premier sellers of designer toys from artists all over the world. Rotofugi features a diverse selection of vinyl figures, capsule toys, plush and more from both eastern and western designers. The adjoining Rotofugi Gallery features monthly art exhibits by a range of both local and nationally known artists. Beginning in late 2007 Rotofugi partnered with Chicago based product development specialist Squibbles Ink to begin producing artist-designed figures by the talented designers located in their home town. You can find the couple in and around the store on most days. They love to talk about toys and art. Shawnimals is a character design studio that believes in the power of unbridled, astonishing, ridiculous joy. Each Shawnimal comes with its own story that starts in the Shawnimaland universe, but is then given over to you to continue each unique creature's adventure in your own universe. Our huggable friends appear as designer toys, lifestyle accessories, apparel, comic books, video games, and as anything that fosters companionship.
