Aaron “Angry Woebots” Martin was born on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, but spent most of his childhood growing up and moving from Southern California to Nevada before finally landing back into Hawaii during his Junior year in high school. In 1999 while a car accident changed everything; this life-threatening experience inspired him to leave the island once again, this time to Seattle, Washington. Inspired by the rain and being indoors, he started playing around with different art mediums again. He then left back to Hawaii with a new perspective. “Being close to death, being trapped in metal changed everything. Almost eleven years later but its just like it happened yesterday life’s been unbelievable I been blessed with the best Family and Homies ever, on top of that I been rocking out full time doing what I love just painting and meeting the coolest people.” Aaron had his first show in 2002 and has not stopped. Showing in galleries up and down California the east coast, have even showed in shows that have traveled from the United States, Tokyo to Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand & New Zealand. Aaron has worked with companies & crews like Mind Style toys/Disney, Blue Scholars, Mintyfresh is a feeling... it's the smell that get's released after you buy something new, you come home and rip off that plastic wrap to love and cuddle your new product. This is also the thought behind Mintyfresh, we want to give each customer the feeling that the product they bought was specially made for them en make sure they treat it with as much love as we do! The idea for Mintyfresh came during a road trip to Germany in 2007 by 2 buddies Joël and Leon, but only halfway 2008 we finally did something with these idea's and Mintyfresh was founded. With all the passion and love we put into Mintyfresh we are convinced that Mintyfresh is doing it's best to deliver the highest quality of service and products like Designer Toys, Plush, Prints and Apparel. ToyCon UK is the UK’s first ever dedicated designer toy convention. With exhibitors ranging from the UK’s best customisers, retailers and toy producers, the event will create a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the stars in this growing scene. Along with the amazing exhibitors and their incredible ware, there will be talks, question sessions and custom workshops with the biggest and brightest in the UK toy scene and beyond. It is the brainchild of three toy fans who decided it was high time the UK had an event to celebrate the talent of UK Toy Artists
