ToyQube & Gallery is located in Flushing, New York, straight out of the Q borough. The big apple is right in the heart of the exploding toy scene. Many of the most sought after artist/designers originated from these very streets. You might notice that many of out products seem to be influenced by street culture, TQ represents this in the fullest. We bring you not only designer vinyl toys and other collectable figures, but we also carry kicks, clothing, and other gear that comes with the lifestyle. Most of our toys come directly from Japan, Hong Kong and other European countries - too many to name. And of course we carry a variety of figures by local designers in the states. We are just trying to satisfy everyone from the vinyl collectors to the sneaker heads. Warner Bros. has significantly contributed to the art toy industry by collaborating with various manufacturers and artists to produce a diverse range of collectibles. These collaborations encompass characters from iconic franchises such as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, and Harry Potter. Kidrobot, in partnership with Warner Bros., has released collectible figures and plush toys featuring characters like Bugs Bunny as Batman and figures from “Tiny Toon Adventures” and “Animaniacs.” Collaborating with artists like Kenny Wong, POP MART has produced limited-edition figures celebrating Warner Bros.’ 100th anniversary, blending contemporary design with classic characters. ToyQube collaboration resulted in unique interpretations of classic characters, such as the “Tom & Jerry” figures, offering collectors distinctive designs With a childhood divided between Hong Kong and Canada, Pucky grew up between two cultures, which prompted her to explore creatively the value of identity and the meaning of belonging. After graduation from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver in 2008, she returned to Hong Kong, where she works as a freelance artist and illustrator and created the brand "Pookie". Pucky's work is a combination of cute and dark, showing an integrated harmony where opposites like good and evil or love and fear, co-exist. She is deeply inspired by the wonders and mysteries of the world and her drawings are strongly affected by the beauty of their history, science and the romance. She draws to communicate these feelings in her own visual language.
