Andrea Kang has created a fanciful world filled with girls, bears, and little creatures. Her narratives explore nostalgia and the blurred lines that exist between dreams, reality, and memories. After graduating with her Masters from the Rhode Island School of Design she worked for Hasbro Inc. designing toys. Since then she's taught, participated in gallery exhibitions and dedicated her time to freelance illustration and product design work. She also started a design collective with illustrator Nathan Jurevicius under the moniker 'Harley & Boss.'Part of the Munnyworld designs released in 2009.Established in 2004, myplasticheart is a toy store and gallery dedicated to bringing the best in both the designer toy and contemporary art world together in one place. Located in the Lower East Side in New York City myplasticheart provides one of the largest selections of designer art toys anywhere. From mini figures to plush to art books and prints you will find a wide range of unique art and design products related to the designer toy culture.
