The adhocPAD is a creative hub, office space, showroom and workshop located in Vienna. It's the homebase for Kathi Macheiner (sixxa) and Lilo Krebernik, but also hosts various other creatives and offers a small artist in residence program. A screenprinting facility, indoor miniramp and frequent exhibitions make this place a unique off space. Visiting artists include Gary Baseman, Joe Ledbetter, Flying Förtress, Inga Guzyte and more. self-produced resin Toy by sjero On December 13th, starting at 6pm ”Furlydoscope Show” will open it’s doors at adhocPad-Gallery in Austria. The show will feature custom versions of the Furly created by 28 designers from all over the world. At the show you will be able to purchase standard edition of 30 blindboxes and then after the show we will see the launch of the blind boxed customized Furly’s. Contributing artists include Bas Petter, Dennis Bauser, Cash Cannon, DeeTen, Diogo Machado, MetaMephisto, Don P., FlawToys, Bill Hewitt, jFury, K.Omega, One-Eyed Girl, Mike Die, ReetNeet, Brent Swart, TaskOner, Tony DeVito, Topz Greenfull ToyDesign, ViseONE, deadLemming, Frau Isa, Sixxa, repet-X, Sarah Lumen Heine and Teodoru. sixxa is Kathi Macheiner, austrian illustrator/artist with her roots in boardsports. She is known for her characters and her own clothing brand for girls. When she's not drawing, painting or sewing characters she's most likely to be working on a new collection or be out snowboarding. Her portfolio offers everything from custom toys, plush dolls, products in collaboration with international brands as well as original artwork. She's also the owner of sixxa store vienna, the biggest art toy shop in Austria and currently launched a clothing line for babies and toddlers!
