Eric Price is a self taught sculptor with ten years experience. I work in clay as well as Super Sculpey. I mostly portray the human anatomy. I am highly motivated and passionate for what I do. I Attended West Liberty State College on a Portfolio Review Scholarship in August of 2000. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in December 2005. I worked as an Adjunct Professor at The Stifel Fine Arts Center in 2007 teaching Portrait Sculpture classes. Currently I reside in Lansing, OH and run Eric's Priceless Pieces, where I create sculptures from my clients personal photographs. Some of my earliest memories about sculpture revolve around action figures. As a child, I was fascinated with the idea of toy making and imagining the process used to create my entertainment. However, I was disappointed with some toys due to their lack of detail or realism. Therefore, I would create additional parts out of household items and imagination in an effort to make my action figures or play sets look more attractive. This is where I feel my interest in sculpture originates. With art, it’s always important that you use certain elements that have a certain meaning to you.
