We open a new exhibit once a month on every 2nd Saturday.Daniel Fleres was born in 1982 in Walnut Creek, CA. As a kid, he was fascinated with saturday morning cartoons, video games, comic book super heroes and the chance to work in the fields that inspired his creativity. After high school, Daniel moved to San Diego to earn an AA in Graphic Design from Platt College. Daniel returned to the bay area after graduating to start a fine art career. The last six years, he has since exhibited and curated art shows all around the world as well as contributed art for published books. Daniel is currently working on his first toy line, “The Swanicorn” to be released later this May and learning to tattoo.wanicorn (swon i korn), n. 1. A mystical and mysterious creature. Swanicorns are commonly part swan and part unicorn with an element of the unexpected. APPEARANCE: Characteristically, Swanicorns have vibrant mohawks which sit atop the head of a swan, adorned with a unicorns horn. Exhibiting a myriad of sizes and colors, there is no end to the creative beauty that a Swanicorn can possess. Some Swanicorns have even grown tails of various magnitude, while others show off their wings or shark fins. HISTORY: The first historical account of the Swanicorn dates back to a cave drawing known as "The Swanicorn Stone". Though very little has been documented about The Swanicorn, more surviving accounts of the Swanicorn from societies all over the world have begun to resurface. In 2012, with ambition to bring other Swanicorn enthusiasts together from far and near and to study the secrets of the Swanicorn, Daniel Fleres founded *The Swanicorn Observation Society (S.O.S.).In 2011, Daniel Fleres set out in search of evidence for the existence of the mysterious Swanicorn creature. After a year of investigating, researching, and exploring, Daniel had accomplished much more than he had expected. Not only did he discover the evidence for their existence, he discovered the Swanicorn themselves! There were so many different types. He saw Panda Swanicorns, Fine China Swanicorns, Flamingo Swanicorns, and the magnificent Tiger-Butterfly Swanicorn along with so much more! Join us this Saturday May 12th, where Daniel and Dragatomi take you to “Swanicornatopia” - a collection of paintings inspired by his exploits. Coinciding with this adventure is the release of Daniel’s figure “ The Swanicorn Companion”. The 16 Swanicorn Companions are made of resin and stand at approx. 7 inches tall. They are all hand painted with each one being a unique kind of Swanicorn.
